Fixed Rate Loan?

I read somewhere that less people are getting 30 year fixed loans. What are some of the other options? I read about a couple different ones, but am a little confused. I have a credit score over 690, and am having some issues finding a good loan.

Can anyone recommend a good mortgage broker in Bradenton ? I need to find someone who will loan on bad credit. I know it is hard to get a loan with great credit, but I am in a bind and need someone who knows how to deal with this.

I think Bayshore Gardens is the up and coming area of Bradenton. Waterfront property is still affordable, it's a very convenient location, and houses are starting to clean up.

Lakewood Ranch is great. We live in Summerfield Glades. The homes are newer, the neighbors are great, everything is nearby, they are building a new downtown area, the country club is nearby, it's close to the freeway - I think it's the best place to live in the area.

The Lakewood Ranch website has alot of good information about the different neighbothoods http://www.lakewoodranch.com/home.html I live in Summerfield. I think it's great. Lots of families, and lots to do. Plus my house has appreciated greatly in the 3 years I have lived here.

Last month I sold my house in Bradenton with Fred Fliss from Real Estate Mart. He was a great agent. Very patient, worked well with us, and got us a very good price. I fully reccomend him to anyone thinking of selling anywhere around Bradenton.
